Warranty

Most appliances will come complete with warranty details and/or warranty cards.  Please ensure that any warranty cards are completed and returned to the Manufacturer in the appropriate time, to ensure that you validate the warranty.

In the unlikely event of a warranty call being required, after all necessary checks have been made by the Buyer to try and ensure the call is necessary and falls within the terms of the warranty, please follow the instructions given on the Manufacturer's warranty information

Whilst every effort is made to determine the fault before sending an engineer to site, it is not always possible to make a correct diagnosis.  Please see the information below.


Warranty
All Goods supplied by Inverness Catering Centre Limited are supplied in accordance with the manufacturers warranty provided with the goods or for one year if not stated with the goods.  If any product proves defective within one year of purchase we will repair it at no cost to you.  The warranty applies to U.K. Mainland Only and does not apply to goods that have not been paid in full.  Please fill in any warranty cards received with your appliance, as soon as possible, and always within 14 days of receipt to validate your warranty.

Inverness Catering Centre will not be under any liability in respect of any defect or failure arising in goods due to wilful damage or misuse, negligence by the customer or third party, failure to follow the manufacturers instruction (including cleaning and de-scaling where appropriate) or alterations or repairs to goods without prior consent by Inverness Catering Centre Limited.  Warranty does not apply to wear and tear, bulbs, glass, seals, perishables, goods that have been damaged by fire, water or smoke  and goods that have exceeded their warranty period.  It does not apply to a small number of machines marked "No Commercial Warranty" where any warranty is invalidated if the machine has been used, or deemed to have been used in a commercial environment.

Items marked "back to base" or "workshop" warranty must be returned to our workshop or the manufacturers workshop for repair.  It is the responsibilty of the user for the safe delivery and collection of these goods. 

Where damage/fault is due to operator misuse, failure to comply with manufacturers instructions, without fault, not been used as it was designed or lack of maintenance it will be charged for.  We will contact you prior to doing this, wherever possible.  When a claim under warranty is submitted, to Inverness Catering Centre Limited, customers will be required to give security payments against non-warranty call outs/repairs.  This can be taken against credit/debit card at our discretion.  Machines returned for repair are not reassembled if upon quotation the repair is not required.

Inverness Catering Centre Limited's obligation, under this warranty, will be limited at the Inverness Catering Centre Limited's option to repairing or replacing ex-works, or allowing credit for, any part of which under normal and proper use and maintenance proves, to Inverness Catering Centre Limited's satisfaction, to be defective in material and workmanship within twelve months of the original date of purchase, provided notice of such defect and satifactory proof thereof should be promptly given  to the Company at it's request.  All labour, travel or carriage costs involved in effecting such replacements or repairs shall be bourne by the buyer.
